The article discusses the socio-economic tourist resources of the Kerbulak district of the Zhetysu region. The author collected material about historical and cultural resources: monuments and memorials, museums, galleries, etc., described ethnographic, political, industrial phenomena. This study was aimed at exploring the possibilities of the studied area for the development of tourism and new tourist routes.
