The article analyzes classical, nonclassical and postnonclassical model of education, differences between the types of rationality, the role of subjectivity, objects and means of research and approaches, Shows how the transition occurs from the non-classical pipelined model of education to a postnonclassical corresponding to postmodernism, which uses a network organization, which calls for a structural reorganization of the whole educational system by increasing students ' independent work. New rationality, which is the basis of post-non-classical model based on the ideas about the formation, nonequilibrium, the fly thanks to negative stability, nonlinearity. Post-non-classical type of rationality dictates a new model of education. Nonclassical and postnonclassical model of education combines the nonlinearity. Along with the traditional task - the training of professionals, the modern system of education must shape the post-non-classical vision of the world. Increasingly in education appear transdisciplinary ideas that give direction and synthesize knowledge of humanitarian and natural-science knowledge. It is the nature of human self-determination, attempts to identify its purpose allow us to understand the meaning and purpose of education, and, moreover, to change perceptions about him.
