The article deals with the actual problem of transformation of the mechanisms of preservation and transmission of historical memory in the context of digitalization of society. The research is devoted to the analysis of pedagogical strategies aimed at adapting traditional forms of cultural heritage transmission to modern technological realities. The authors identifies the key challenges faced by the education system in integrating digital technologies into the process of forming historical consciousness. Special attention is paid to the consideration of innovative approaches to the creation of digital archives, virtual museums and interactive educational platforms as tools for preserving collective memory. The influence of information and communication technologies on the perception and interpretation of historical events by the younger generation is analyzed. The paper substantiates the need to develop a comprehensive pedagogical model that combines the advantages of digital technologies with traditional methods of historical education to ensure the continuity of cultural transmission in the era of global technological transformations.
