This work continues a series of articles by the author on the history of Tatar Sufi culture of the Middle Ages. A major role in the Islamization of the population of Volga Bulgaria, and then the Kazan Khanate, belongs to the followers of the Yasawiyya tariqa. Modern researchers from all over the world are studying the handwritten collection of treatises by al-Yassawi and his followers. This article provides little-studied sources on Turkic Sufi culture in different languages, and draws historical lines of connection with medieval Tatar culture. The work provides a preliminary analysis of little-studied treatises - “Fakr-name”, “Nasabname”, “Jawahir al-abrar min amwaj al-bihar” / Jewels of the righteous from the waves of the sea) by Ahmad Khazini. Symbolic analogies of artifacts from the Khazret Sultan Museum-Reserve are drawn. Many images and symbols of al-Yassawi’s Sufi poetry have survived to this day and are present in modern Tatar poetry. The work will be of interest to anyone interested in the history of the Islamic culture of the Turkic peoples, their artifacts and historical heritage.
