Historical experience of the foreign countries confirming necessity of development of the manufacturing industry and moving away from the raw material dependence for Russia

The article considers historic experience of the countries, which focused on the manufacturing industry and held a big annuity for import of gold and silver, and therefore stopped its development. The author compares this historical experience with the similar situation in Russia.
