Бесплатный доступ

The article analyzes the development of the Russian school of flute playing. As in the case of other brass specialties, Russian flutists have adopted the foundation of performing traditions and the technology of training from outstanding musicians in Europe. The first Russian flutists subsequently emerged from the classes of European teachers who taught in the first years after the opening of conservatories in St. Petersburg and Moscow, gradually replacing their teachers in orchestras and conservatories. Over time, a two vector trajectory of the development of the national flute school was formed in two of the largest Russian conservatories St. Petersburg and Moscow. This unique cultural phenomenon allows researchers of the Russian wind art to talk about two parallel performing schools Leningrad and Moscow, which have tangible differences, but are not antagonistic to each other. The accumulation of unique performing traditions, the development of teaching technology and the formation of its own educational and methodological base allows us to confidently speak about the existence of the Russian flute school as an original and unique cultural phenomenon requiring state support, preservation and development.
