History of the development of the Russian library blogosphere: from emergence to institutionalization

The article describes the development of the library blogosphere in Russia since 2007. The author attempted to systematize and trace trends in the formation of library bloggers from amateur movement to recognition by the professional community. In brief form there is a path from the first attempts by librarians to master new opportunities of social media in popularization of libraries to the development of the movement of bloggers to the working group of RBA Libraries and Social Media of RBA.
