The article presents the material that reflects the history of the formation of project activities in the field of social pedagogy. It contains a brief description of some documents of the 18th-19th centuries, based on the ideas of a systematic approach. The documents are built in the logic of projects, including an analytical part, accompanied by the assessment of the situation, the formulation of a goal and the ways to implement it, as well as predictable results.
