The historical and pedagogical reflection of the October revolution of 1917

The October revolution is typically seen as an ambitious project of transformation of the Russian society, on the basis of radical economic, social, and political changes of people’s life, creation of a qualitatively new way of spiritual life. Moreover, the project itself, the process of its implementation, the results and their consequences are evaluated very ambiguously. But the October revolution can and should be considered as an ambitious pedagogical project - the project of creating a New man, a man of new Communist (socialist) world.
