Theoretical and methodological aspects of forming professional competence are discussed. Connection between professional policompetence, introduction of FSES HE +++ and WorldSkills standards, employers’ requirements and formation of personal learningpath in higher schools is established. Concrete practical experiences of the first stage of testing the technology of forming professional policompetence in the conditions when students choose individual learning path when WorldSkills standards are introduced and practices of the resulting demo exams at the International Institute of Design and Service are presented. Prospects of further work on forming professional policompetence in the conditions when students choose individual learning path when WorldSkills standards are incorporated in the educational process are identified.
