From the experience of using national-regional song material in teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Chinese audience

The relevance of the topic of the study is due to the need to develop practical material for lessons in Russian as a foreign language using regional song lyrics, allowing students to memorize new vocabulary, develop listening skills and get acquainted with the culture of the country of the studied language. The article presents methodological developments of lessons using popular songs about Yakutia, aimed at improving the linguistic, socio-cultural, cultural and communicative competence of Chinese students. A list of songs with rich cultural information about the region, its traditions and customs, national cuisine and holidays is offered. The stages of work in the lesson with the song material are described, with cultural commentary on the works, grammar and creative exercises. On the basis of the experiment among Chinese students the feasibility and effectiveness of the use of song material in the teaching of Russian as a foreign language is confirmed.
