Experience of conducting demonstration exams in the "Hotel reception" skill

The problem of training middle-level specialists in the hotel industry is discussed. It is noted that the criteria for assessing the quality of training of highly qualified professional personnel of the hospitality industry are Worldskills standards. The article presents the author’s experience of the demonstration exam on the competence of «Hotel Reception». The results of the analysis of the results of the demonstration exam revealed the weaknesses and strengths of the training of future managers of hotel service. The experts assessed the examination procedure and made recommendations to improve the efficiency of students ‘ training according to Worldskills standards.
