Variability in the intensity and completeness of lactation in cows of heifers

In the three farms of the Republic of Tatarstan examined the variability of the intensity and completeness of milk removal in cows depending on the shape of their udder and teats. In General, populations of greatest intensity milk excretion and completeness of milk removal were characterized by cows with bowl-shaped form of the udder. The degree of influence of the shape of the udder to the intensity of excretion of milk made up 5.71%, completeness of milk removal was 4.2%. The highest variability of the studied characteristics typical of cows economy named Nur Bayan, indicating a higher efficiency of selection.
