Study of therapeutic activity of new antituberculosis - Linarol

Бесплатный доступ

The aim of this work was to study the specific antitubercular activity of Linarol against M. tubercuiosis strain H37Rv (MBT) on the model of acute exudative necrotic tuberculosis of mice. It was found that the Linarol preparation, when administered intragastrically at a dose of 50 mg / kg body weight, significantly reduced the number of CFU mycobacterium tuberculosis in the lungs and spleen of experimental mice in comparison with the control group mice for 5 days. Isoniazid, in a similar dose and timing of administration, reduced the amount of CFU MBT by 2 orders of magnitude more in the lungs than Linarol. However, the CFU indices in the spleen in the groups of mice receiving isoniazid and Linarol were almost identical.
