Language categorization of landscape objects in the English language (by the example of the concept “forest”)

The article deals with the concept “FOREST” included in the landscape sphere of concepts of the British linguoculture. The aim of the research is to define the representativity of the category opposition “involvement/non-involvement of natural area in the activities of the human being” in the English linguoculture and to describe the lexical representativity of the landscape ground concepts. The material of the research contains both the vocabulary definitions of the lexical items - the representatives of the concept “FOREST” and the language contexts.
