Language policy: theoretical understanding and practice

The article deals with solving theoretical and practical problems. The theoretical relevance of the research consists in critical re- evaluation of the term “language policy”. The practical relevance of the research consists in the demonstration of the problems in language policy of the Astrakhan region based on the questionnaire of native bilinguals - native speakers of National-Russian bilingualism.
