Language markers of Anglo-Saxon culture in the translated Russian speech of characters (based on the play "The glass menagerie" by Tennessee Williams)

On the comparative analysis oyzf the English original text and two variants of the Russian translation of the play "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams, the problem of transferring the markers of Anglo-Saxon culture is reviewed. It is established that the main cultural markers are onyms, idioms, paremias and some stylistic devices.
