Infantile epileptic spasms syndrome (IES) is a severe form of epileptic encephalopathy in infancy and is often associated with adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes. This article presents a clinical case of a child with cerebral palsy who, despite drug-resistant epileptic spasms, experienced an effective clinical and electroencephalographic response after hormonal therapy. This case highlights the importance of timely diagnosis of IES and early initiation of pathogenetically based treatment.
