The technology of virtual reality demonstrates the strong potential in the process of foreign language teaching. On the basis of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation – Odintsovo, there is conducted the experiment directed to the study of the efficiency of VR-technologies for learning the vocabulary in comparison with the traditional methods of education.
