Economic criteria of hotel enterprises activity quality improvement

The article discusses one of the urgent problems of development of the Russian hotel sector related to the provision of regulatory classification requirements of hotels and other accommodation, considered the requirements and sequence of evaluation for assigning categories, it is noted that compliance with these requirements may lead to significant investment, the implementation of which requires compliance with economic efficiency, that involves consideration of possible directions of improving the quality of activities based on economic criteria, presented the investment approaches taking into account characteristics of the projects related to quality, is an example of hotel business.
