Experimental research of a model of nuclear industry engineer

The article describes the research aimed at analyzing the professionally important qualities of a nuclear industry engineer. The need in highly-qualified nuclear industry engineers has increased recently. The shortage of specialists in nuclear industry can be decreased by enhancing the training system of nuclear engineers. The aim of this paper is to highlight the key points of higher professional education with the aim of maximizing future engineers’ potential in their professional activity. The article gives the comparative analysis of the experimental data of average group ranks of qualities offered to respondents for determining the model of a nuclear industry engineer as well as the results interpretation and its expert evaluation. The recommendations given on organizing nuclear engineers’ training can be used to develop professional educational programs for future nuclear engineers.
