Free access

This article addresses the issue of organizing career guidance work with high school students based on an existential approach. It is noted that individuals who have made their existential choice are an important strategic resource, guaranteeing national stability, and ensuring high school students’ personal and professional self-determination is the goal of career guidance. To realize the existential meaning of career guidance work, it is proposed to organize existential meetings for high school students as part of club activities. These meetings are understood as a means of supporting the development of adolescents, whose trajectory is highly individual. The article describes the experience of implementing the experimental program “Existential Laboratory 5.0: Professional Choice and Personal Meaning.” It is concluded that existential meetings facilitate the transition in high school students' consciousness from unconscious anxiety to a meaningful responsibility for their future professional path.
