Бесплатный доступ
The purpose of this work was a theoretical study of depression from the point of view of the existential approach. The main research method was a theoretical analysis of the literature on the research topic. In the study, depression is understood not as a clinical disease, but as a special existence fi lled with suff ering. The diff erence between two research approaches in relation to depression, aimed at the “how” of existence and the “meaning” of existence of a depressed person, is presented. Depression is also seen in this article as a reaction to a “defi cit of values and relationships with Being-here.” An analysis of altered perception of the body and time in depression is proposed. The features of communication of a depressed person with other people are considered.
