Emotional and evaluative component of jazz lyrics (based on the English language of the Afro-American social and ethnic dialect)

The article deals with the peculiarities of functioning the lexical units of jazz lyrics of the Afro-American social and ethnic dialect in the context of the cooperation of the linguistic and sociocultural aspects. There are revealed the productive language features of the formation of the jazz terminology. There is analyzed the high emotional and evaluative potential of the jazz vocabulary, that is implemented by the means of the metaphorical and metonymical transfer and synonymy.
