Eschatological motifs in the novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky "Metro 2033"

The article is devoted to the study of the novel "Metro 2033"by D. Glukhovsky. The aim of the work is to identify the eschatological motives of this work. The method of research of historicalliterary and motivic analysis. In the process of the analysis the world outlook preconditions are considered and the ideas of finiteness of the world and mortality of mankind, eschatological ideas of realization of sense of history, transformation of the nature, the world and the person are found out. Dmitry Glukhovsky's novel is a model of modern prose with eschatological problems, performing the function of social forecasting.
