The article examines the system of rational theology of an outstanding Russian religious philosopher, theologian, professor of the Moscow Theological Academy, the largest representative of the 19th century theological academic philosophy Viktor Dmitrievich Kudryavtsev-Platonov (1828-1891). Being a student and follower of Archpriest Feodor Golubinsky, Kudryavtsev-Platonov proposed his own theological and philosophical teaching, enriching national school of theological academic philosophy with new ideas and concepts, in particular, in the sections on the attributes and actions of God. Professor Kudryavtsev-Platonov founded the natural theology section devoted to God's existence on the epistemological basis of transcendental monism, which is connected both with the philosophy of Platonism and Neoplatonism, and with national philosophy of all-unity. It is noted that V. D. Kudryavtsev-Platonov managed to present a holistic system of rational theology, within the framework of which strong arguments in defense of the Christian faith are proposed. The undoubted advantage of this system is its foundation on the epistemological positions of realism, which does not allow to separate absolutely necessary concepts from the fabric of being, for example, the concept of God.
