Considering the issue of the definition of the emotive vocabulary in the ancient records

The article deals with the possibility of the extrapolation of the modern concept of the emotiveness to the vocabulary of the ancient records. There is further defined the specific character of the method of the description of the emotive component of the meaning relating to the vocabulary in the ancient records. There is described the algorithms of the definition of the emotives in the ancient records. The author raises an issue of the synchronic and diachronic aspects of the linguistic theories of the emotions and its key concepts - “emotiveness”, “emotive semantics” and “emotive”.
