This article discusses the components of teachers giftedness, as well as directions for use of music capabilities in the development of this quality of the person. The author emphasizes the uniqueness of the music art as a means of comprehensive exposure, improvement of the emotional sphere and intellect. Particularly accentuated the role of non-classical style works in stimulating the creativity of teachers of music, teachers of art. Subject of article is music as means of development of giftedness of the future teacher in the context of higher vocational teacher education. The main subject is definition of the role and possibilities of music in the development of students at the Faculty of Culture and Arts of pedagogical high school. The work purpose is analysis of the grounds of music application in the development of the giftedness of future music teachers and teachers of the fine art. The methodology of carrying out work consists in search and the designation of the approaches to be used to develop the possibilities of musical art in the training of students. Results of work contain the state-of-the-art review, characteristic activities of the teacher of the university for the development of giftedness of the future teachers by means of music. Scope of results is model of development of students giftedness in the classroom in high school by means of music. Output. In general, using in the learning process of music tends to the development of the individual components of giftedness of the future teachers.
