On the problem of project method implementation in teaching foreign languages

A topical problem of implementing the project method in the contemporary higher education while teaching foreign languages to students of non-language programs is discussed. A brief history of the project method in the world education theory and practices is presented; its advantages in working with nowadays students are outlined. Author’s experiences in implementing the method in teaching foreign languages are described
