Considering the issue of the establishment and development of the terminology of new medicine branches

The article deals with the development of the term system of metabolomics in the English, Russian and French languages. There is analyzed the complex of the characteristics that are typical for the term system of a new branch of medicine at the stage of its establishment. The authors reveal the ways of the nomination and the specific features of the terminological units in the considered term system.
