On the issue of gender approach to the organization of girls’ education in military universities

In this paper the question arises of the need to find methodological foundations for optimizing the educational process in a military university, adapting it to new social-pedagogical conditions. One of these new conditions is the inclusion of female cadets in the subjects of education. It is substantiated that the emergence of gender differentiation among students requires reliance on the provisions of a gender approach to the construction of the educational process in a military educational institution. At the same time, it is noted that currently uncertainty remains in the field of principles, value-oriented guidelines, methods and techniques for implementing the gender approach in the system of military professional education. In this context, it is proposed to consider increasing the efficiency of the process of socio-psychological adaptation of female cadets to study at a military university as a target, as well as providing girls with equal opportunities for self-realization and professional development.
