On the question of the content of the conceptual construction "global energy security"

The article examines the evolution of ideas about the content of the conceptual construct "global energy security". The necessity of interpreting the essence of energy security taking into account the role of cooperation between states participating in the processes of extraction, supply and consumption of energy resources is substantiated. The necessity of using the theory of public goods for the formation of the concept of global energy security is substantiated. The definition of global energy security is presented.
