Considering the issue of the strategies of the formation and development of the cognitive interest to the study of the foreign language

The article deals with the row of the strategies supporting the formation and development of the cognitive interests of the students of the school age, particularly, to studying the foreign language. The cognitive interest is presented as the main component of the academic motivation. There are revealed some ways of the formation of the strong cognitive interest as its highest degree.
