The article deals with the problem of typologization of texts related to autobiographical discourse. The corpus of autobiographical texts is large and varied. We focus on the correlation of the résumé genre as one of the genres of autobiographical discourse with the provisions of V. I. Karasik's sociolinguistic typology. Although this genre formally be-longs to the periphery of institutional communication, the content of the résumés can be attributed to personal discourse. In general, the correlation of the text with autobiographical discourse is determined by a set of criteria known as F. Lejeune’s pact. Based on P. Lejeune's pact, we come to the conclusion that all autobiographical texts are narratives with the features inherent in narratives: subjectivity, non-canonical communicative situation, a distance in time and space between the narrator and the world depicted by him
