The issue of transformation of the key competences in modern media education: from communicative - to the communication

The article focuses on the role of media education in the formation of key competences of modern teenagers that seems relevant in light of the introduction of the system of Russian education FSES third generation. One of the key competences, the formation of which is given priority in the modern media education is communicative. However, to date, according to the author, there is a need to make adjustments to already existing terminology and introduce the new concept of "communication competence".
