Over the past three years, Institute of the Russian Language has been developed an electronic dictionary of Russian borrowings of the 11th- 17th Centuries. It is based on "The Dictionary of the Russian Language of the 11th- 17th Centuries", "The Dictionary of the Old Russian Language of the 11th- 14th Centuries", and Sreznevsky’s materials and consists of two parts: Graecisms and Polonisms. This gave as the opportunity to trace the development of borrowings, as well as the phonetic and morphological variability. Sections of the table separating translated and original sources also allow us to draw a conclusion about acquisition of a particular word
