On the question of teacher's willingness to cooperate with parents using distance learning technologies

The article examines approaches to the organization of cooperation between the teacher and parents and the principles of its implementation, raises the question of the teacher’s willingness to organize work with legal representatives of children in the new conditions, that is, in the online space and using distance learning technologies. The results of the experiment conducted in the Far Eastern Federal District on the outcomes of distance learning 2020-2021 academic year are analyzed, which demonstrates that this form of work is a supportive learning and cannot fully replace traditional learning. The findings are confirmed by the results of a survey of subject teachers at the courses of advanced training at the School of Education of the Far Eastern University and by students’ parents. It is emphasized that in modern realities, remote interaction between teachers and parents can be quite productive, based on the application of various forms and methods of communication in an online format. Difficulties and problems in the organization of such communication are revealed, and aspects that teachers and parents should pay attention to using distance learning technologies for interaction are outlined.
