On the issue of the spread of fake news in the vastness of the global internet

The study focuses on the problem of the spread of fake information among news on Internet sites. The article provides a semantic analysis of what unreliable information is. The purpose of the scientific work is to reveal the significance of the exclusive use of truth in published information and to draw attention to the relevance of the popularization of false information in Internet communication. The consequences of publishing false news to the masses are noted, as well as possible solutions for combating fake news in the information space are presented as the results of critical reflection and scientific analysis of existing views in doctrine and law, the current situation in society. It is recommended to use an idealized, but correct model for building news reports in the form of the formula «news = fact».
