The formation of civic identity among Russian schoolchildren is a complex and multidimensional process involving the education system, family, society, and the state. However, this process is often marred by contradictions between the value systems transmitted by these different socialization agents. Therefore, it is crucial for the education system to assess the effectiveness of civic identity formation among Russian schoolchildren. This assessment should focus on criteria that systematically reflect the various components of civic identity, including cognitive-semantic, emotional-value, and activity factors. The purpose of this study is to substantiate and analyze the results of quality monitoring in relation to the formation of civic identity among Russian schoolchildren. The findings of the monitoring revealed several important conclusions. Firstly, a high level of cooperation between parents and schools positively affects the formation of value orientations among schoolchildren, particularly in relation to family values. Secondly, schools that regularly monitor the psychological safety of the educational environment tend to have better overall school climates. Thirdly, the presence of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First” has a positive influence on the value orientations, personal development safety, and school climate. Lastly, effective communication channels between parents, teachers, and schoolchildren are essential for successful social practices in civic identity formation. These results can be utilized by various education stakeholders, including school deputy directors, class teachers, subject teachers, advisors to the director on education and interaction with children's public associations, teachers of additional education, and guides.
