The article considers the reconstruction of the ancient Karelian costume basing on the materials of burials excavated in Karelian Isthmus (Priozersk district of Leningrad region) at the end of the XIX century. It uses jewelry from modern excavations of the medieval settlements of the Northwest Ladoga area and the results of chemical analysis of non-ferrous metal.
