Mapping of winter wheat acreage using remote sensing methods

With the help of satellite data, estimates of the dynamics of the sown areas of winter wheat in the Elansky municipal district of the Volgograd region were obtained. Based on the analysis of remote sensing data and monitoring data, agricultural fields occupied by winter crops were identified for the period 2019-2023. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the amount of acreage varies significantly from year to year and amounts to 30-60 thousand hectares per year.
