Keypal-technology in the formation of students’ foreign communication

The article is focused on the possibility of learning English with the participation of keypals (friends by correspondence), and their influence on students' perception of culture and language skills. The author also considers the advantages and disadvantages of communication via e-mail. The main objectives of this study were to study the pedagogical aspects of keypal communication, as well as to examine the interpersonal characteristics of electronic communication, including the degree of development of the formed skills and their influence on the development of students learning a foreign language in general. The author points out that studying a foreign language using e-mail can significantly improve the vocabulary of students, personalizing and demonstrating the importance of learning English in the process of intercultural communication.
