Cybercommunication in education: "disembodied" personality and "impersonal" thinking

Бесплатный доступ

The work is devoted to the problem of formalization and algorithmization of the educational process in the modern world, which is associated with the explosive development of cybercommunication space in the postindustrial information and network society of the XXI century. The obvious advantages of online education have been repeatedly described and confirmed by scientific research. However, there is a downside to this process, which leads to the development of «impersonal» thinking, as well as to the loss of an individual personal approach to each participant in the educational process. Both the teacher and the student often cease to be fullfledged personalities involved in research cognitive activity, becoming participants in an impersonal and «disembodied» exchange of functions in a kind of «educational supermarket». K.Jaspers almost a hundred years ago described a similar situation in the famous work «The Spiritual Situation of Time». And, probably, it is today, with the increasing introduction of neural networks and artificial intelligence into social life in general, that the moment has come to make education that area, that clear sphere of reflection, where the personalities of the student and the teacher meet in a holistic living communication, ceasing to be only means, but through awareness becoming unconditional goals for each other. These Kantianbased motives can help the modern world preserve man as an unconditional value and a freethinking being.
