China vs. the Commonwealth of Independent States: integration or expansionism?

The paper carried out a survey on the state of relations between the contemporary China and the countries that have appeared after collapse of the USSR and further have formed a new political association, the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as relations with individual countries being member states of the CIS. The study focused on the issue of assessing the nature of economic cooperation between these entities being either general integration or economic expansionism of either country against the other one.
