The Chinese variant of English in modern textbooks as the means of development of intercultural competence

The potential of the Chinese variant of English as the means of development of intercultural competence of the Russian linguistics students is substantiated. On the basis of the analysis of learning guides the fragmentary nature of representativity of the Chinese theme was revealed. The methodological principles of integration of this material in the educational process are suggested.
