Data about colonyforming capaclity(CFC) of hematopoietic stem cells in patientswith aplastic anemia (AA) depending on stageof disease and results of immunosuppressive therapy have been shown. Total surveyed 41 patients with AA. Research showed loweringof CFC of hematopoietic stem cells or absenceof colonies in the initial stage. After successful immunosuppressive therapy CFC usuallyimproved. The results showed that recovery of CFC may be evidence of effective therapy. At thesame time significantly reduced CFC in remissionmay indicate an increased risk of relapse.
