Teamwork as a pedagogical condition for the formation of professional culture in specialists of technology and organization of public catering through the prism of hospitality philosophy

This article addresses the issue of forming the professional culture of specialists in technology and organization of public catering from the perspective of hospitality philosophy within the pedagogical condition of “teamwork”. The relevance of the study is driven by the necessity for modern graduates of higher educational institutions to acquire skills in collective interaction and effective teamwork. In the course of the research, the following methods were employed: theoretical analysis, testing, formative experiment, and mathematical statistics (non-parametric criterion X²). The novelty of addressing this issue lies in the development of a technology for forming the professional culture of specialists based on the condition of “teamwork”, with the conceptual foundation being the notion of “hospitality philosophy”. The implementation of this technology is realized through a case method, which presupposes the integration of pedagogical and professional experiences in the field of public catering organization. The theoretical and practical significance of the study is encapsulated in the development of the content related to the condition for shaping the professional culture of specialists in technology and organization of public catering, which facilitates the acquisition of the “collaboration” competency. The results of the experiment demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed methodology rooted in hospitality philosophy and the case method technology in fostering the “collaboration” competency.
