In the article views the Ludwig Tieck's (1773-1853) comedy "Kaiser Octavian" as an example of romantic myth creation. Play "Kaiser Octavian", which many researchers (for example, N. Berkovsky) tend to think of the drama, for the L. Teck was the embodiment of his romantic comedy ideal. Reigning fantasy author, sometimes amounting to a complete times mixing and events. L. Tieck's comedy "Kaiser Octavian" is obviously synthetic and even universal nature. And she is not only funny. It involve funny and serious things. The audience often laughs at the fact that in reality turns out to be serious and takes seriously what is actually comical. L. Tieck's comedy demonstrates that romanticism all canons are destroyed together with the disappearance of boundaries between genres. It becomes possible diverse mix of generic and genre forms. A romantic comedy, therefore, creates its own mythology on the material social life.
