Student-faculty communication in virtual space: priority issues

The paper examines the difference in priorities during the implementation of digital interactions between faculty and students about learning. A comparative analysis is made of the priorities declared by the subjects of the educational process, as well as the problem points that they consider important for the effectiveness of communication and the learning process as a whole. Materials and methods. The implementation of the tasks is achieved based on the analysis of the results of the empirical research conducted by the authors in the form of a questionnaire survey of the student community (n = 156). An overview of scientific ideas on the topic of social communication in education is given. The empirical basis was the results of a survey of students and teachers of the Pacific State Medical University (Vladivostok). The conclusion is that the difference in priorities is a normal phenomenon, but it should be monitored by the university to improve the quality of educational communication.
