The article presents a totality of basic professional competences for reserve officers of motor forces. An authoritative model of reserve officers training in state technical universitys is examined. Pedagogical technology for student's basic professional competences of reserve officer formation is described. Particular attention is paid for elaboration of criterions and diagnostic instruments for levels of competences formation examination.
